To be considered for employment with Rio Arriba County, applicants must submit a completed employment General Application(PDF, 1MB) along with a copy of their high school diploma or GED certificate. A resume and letter of interest are optional but may be included to provide additional information regarding qualifications, experience, and career interests. Conditions of Employment
Employment with Rio Arriba County is contingent upon the successful completion of a background investigation, pre-employment drug screening, and Motor Vehicle Division (MVD) check. Employees must adhere to all County safety standards and comply with the HIPAA Guidelines Manual – Policies and Procedures. In addition, employees are required to possess and maintain a valid Rio Arriba County driving course certificate or complete an approved defensive driving course within thirty (30) days of hire as a condition of continued employment.
