Mission Statement

Rio Arriba County will use its constitutional powers to provide for the safety, preserve the health, promote prosperity and improve moral, order, comfort and convenience of the inhabitants of Rio Arriba County. The Risk Management Personnel will continue cooperating with other departments to assure all personnel that our efforts are in the best interests of the county, its employees and the public.

The Risk Management Department is staffed with the Director and a Secretary. We are located on Main Street across from the Tierra Amarilla County Courthouse. Our office hours are Monday –Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm.

Elipio is responsible for the overall operations of the Risk Management Department.

Risk Management Secretary
Sophie assists the Risk Manager in all areas. Sophie also handles the Workmen’s Comp for the County.
