The Rio Arriba County Senior Olympic Program is dedicated to promoting healthy lifestyles for all seniors 50 years and older through health treks, fitness, and sporting events. Department staff over the past years have been very successful in recruiting senior adults to join Senior Olympics and continue to improve and maintain the good health and wellness of our senior adults. In 2017 our Senior Olympians competed at the New Mexico Senior Olympic Summer Games held in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Rio Arriba County was well represented!
