- Provide the leadership and support to reduce the loss of life, property and support to reduce the loss of life, property and environment and all types of hazardous emergencies.

- Create partnerships with other federal agencies, state and local governments, volunteer organizations and with the private sector.

- Provide rapid and effective response to any emergency.

The Rio Arriba County Fire Marshal's Office is dedicated to working closely with all agencies of the fire service to improve the county preparedness for fire and EMS emergencies.
