Mission Statement:

The manager's office of Rio Arriba County directs and coordinates all county government operations as mandated by state, federal and local law. The office is steered by the Board of County Commissioners to provide responsible fiscal services and maintain efficient and beneficial operations offered to taxpayers.   

• Prepare and present policy agenda items for the Board's consideration, implement policies adopted by the Board, and oversee and direct the operation of county departments.
• Publicize all Commission meetings and events open to the public; create and maintain all County news; develop and respond to public relations issues (media and public inquiries).
• Manager's staff represent the county at meetings of affiliated entities, generate and monitor capital projects, monitor contractor and consultant compliance.
